Application of Drop Segmenter in Distribution System 

In China's distribution system, most of the main grids of overhead distribution lines operate in an open loop mode, that is to say, most distribution lines operate in a radial mode. Generally, the line is long, and sometimes there are long branch lines. The line automatic sectionalizer is used in conjunction with the circuit breaker (or recloser) with automatic reclosing function for 10KV outgoing line of substation. When a short-circuit fault occurs in a certain section of the line, the fault can be automatically detected and removed, the power supply in the non-fault section can be restored, the power outage area caused by the fault can be reduced, and the power supply reliability of distribution can be improved.
